Texas Maritime Museum

The Texas Maritime Museum was established in the late 1980s on the heels of the annual Rockport Seafair Festival. Maritime historians and enthusiasts will love perusing the collection of fishing equipment, mounted fish, motors, and much more. 

Fulton Mansion State Historic Site

Step back into what the Fulton/Rockport area was like in the 19th Century at the Fulton Mansion State Historic Site. This exceptionally preserved home is renowned for its ornate detailing and roofing, inspired by the French Second Empire style. The historic home is open for tours Tuesday through Sunday.

Aransas National Wildlife Refuge

Aransas National Wildlife Refuge

Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is a large pristine area of land that is home to a range of wildlife, including the endangered whooping crane, North America's tallest bird. Many other species can be observed from the trail systems, boat tours, and permitted fishing and hunting trips.

Goose Island State Park

Goose Island State Park in Rockport provides an idyllic setting experience the area's most exciting activities, such as fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, and more. Miles of hiking and biking trails provide opportunities to explore this beautiful state park. In addition, 100 camp+ sites are available. Goose Island State Park is open daily, and a small entrance fee is required for adults.
